Some old-school effects

Postby simon » Mon Jun 17, 2013 2:52 pm

Hey,

last week we came back from Spain. Whoo, we enjoyed the sun, the ocean, the Cerveza and Tequila and I collected some energy for new tasks. :)

When laying lazy on the beach I got some "new old" ideas for nice effects. Well, the text scroller isn't really a nice but mandatory effect. Unfortunately the smooth and soft scrolling stutters on the recording. :-/

Best regards
Simon

Well, here are the two videos:

Thank you! Yesterday I started with first attempts in programming a pseudo 3d racing game. So far I have a working interrupt system which scrolls every scanline of the plain road in the x direction different. Let's see what we can do... :)
