Adding a joystick to the 68k

Postby DGE » Tue Mar 05, 2013 8:01 pm

I'm looking for more information on the basic logic to add inputs to the 68k. The hardware documents go over in great detail on adding PS2 ports (which is a future project of mine to try). Right now, I'm trying to understand what would be needed using standard TTL (74LS) logic for a one button input tied to the 68k directly.

I am sorry but I can't tell you how you would connect a joystick via TTL as this forum is about Kiwi and its hard- and software. I have never done it with standard TTL. Well, Kiwi connects the joysticks with the help of the PI/T. You might want to check the schmatics which are available for download.
