Re: Case?

Yeah, who else could it be? The other forum members seem to be very silent. ;) :D I bought two cases to have some material to play around with. Maybe I can cut one case and insert a part of the other case to extend its size. The tricky part could be the "insert". How to fix? Glue? ... What...

Re: Power supply

An external brick would be nice. I would like to see a small standard PC power-supply as these are pretty cheap. If I could find one which is smaller than the standard bricks and preferably silent (passive cooling)... :) I did not order needed parts yet because I don't want to submit an order just f...

Case?

Hi,

I got a cheap case. I knew it has the wrong measure but I thought of trying a sort of case modding. Has anyone experience with plastic molding/modding?
Here are some pictures of the case.

Re: New hardware revision?

Probably you are right. I expected it to be a niche project. And maybe the word isn't just spread enough yet. You are inivited to help spreading. I try to write new software as a video of some demo or game gains more attention. :) As we said before, a single computer is expensive. Thus I would not c...

Re: New hardware revision?

Hi,

it seems there is not very much interest in this project. Well, if there is no co-work from the community, I keep programming. I have a Kiwi and a new design is only a nice-to-have for me. ;)

Re: Palette fading?

By changing the inner fading loop there is a pretty smooth fading loop now. :)

Re: Palette fading?

Ok I am answering my own question... :) Well, I moved the wait_retrace() call before calculating the next 16 RGB values within the fading loop. Now there are no "flashing pixel" appearing in the border when fading. :) I really assume, the VDP actually sets it's "vertical retrace displ...
